How to Install IntelliJ IDEA for Windows for Java | Scala | Python | Groovy | Kotlin




IntelliJ IDEA  Install for Windows :

Nowadays, most of the developers are using IntelliJ IDEA for Java, Scala, Python, Groovy, and Kotlin on Windows 10 operating system. Basically, InteliJ IDEA is free, open -source as well enterprise edition also available as per our requirement.

How to Setup IntelliJ IDEA on Windows 10 with steps:

Step 1: Download IntelliJ IDEA Free, Open source Community for Java developers from IntelliJ IDEA official website: Download Intellij IDEA

Step 2: After downloading idealC – 2019 version .exe file, we need to install with simple steps for Windows. Click on “Next” button.

Step 3: Here we need set Destination Folder for installation. After that click on “Next” button.

Step 4: In this step here it showing “JetBrains”. If it not showing, choose “JetBrains” and click on “Install” button.

Step 5: After completion of Install of IntelliJ IDEA will get shortcut in the Desktop for easy to open and implementing code.




Step 6: Accept the Licence Agreement for further for fully completing installation.

Step 7 : After that “Create New Project” for beginners. In case you have project then simply “Import Project” to implement the code.

 

Step 8: Here, left side showing programming languages, platforms and Plugins like below:
Java, Java FC, Android, IntelliJ Plugin, Maven, Gradle, Groovy, Kotlin,  and Empty project.

Step 9: Choose above programming languages then click on “Next” button after that it showing “create project from template”. Default click “Next” button.

Step 10: Here we will provide Project Name and Project Location for our convenience. After that click on “Finish” button.




Summary: After setup IntelliJ IDEA on Windows operating system. If you want implement Python, Scala programs we need to add Plugins in the Market place. IntelliJ IDEA is a free, open-source and enterprise edition to implement the code for developers. It is user friendly for implementing the code. For Java, developers using Maven, IntelliJ IDEA is very supportive and useful. Coming to Spark developers we need to set the SBT for Python, SCALA programmers.
